Holly Berries Quilt

I finally finished the binding on the Holly Berries quilt and went over it with a narrowed eye and a lint brush. It’s done but for a label. Hurray!

I designed this quilt in EQ a long time ago, and it feels so good to see it in the fabric, as it were. If you want to read about the process of making it (starting at the beginning of August) just click on the "holly berries" tag. This is also the first quilt that I've developed a pattern for, since another quilter asked me where the pattern was available. It's been quite an experience! I love this quilt and it would be on my bed all winter long.. as for EQ all my quilts are designed using that program... it is wonderful.

I agree! EQ is great, in part because you can play with quilt layouts without ever picking up a rotary cutter.

I love this quilt!! I don't usually get excited about Christmas quilts but this one has really hit me hard. Where can I get the pattern? In my 40 years of quilting, I've only made one Christmas themed quilt using the Rob Peter to Pay Paul pattern but this one I must make. Thank you so much for sharing.

The pattern has been proofed but the tester I sent it to hasn't been able to get around to it yet, so I'd appreciate if you'd let me know where the glitches are.
